Job Description About STMA SchoolsWe are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing health services within the special education Extended School Year program including first aid to sick and injured students and staff and assisting with various student health needs; maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA.
Schedule & DetailsSchedule: June 8 (Staff day), June 9-12, 15-18, 22-25; hours approximately 7:30am-11:30am.
FTE: 0.5
Contract: 13 days
Location- Albertville Primary (Preschool & Kindergarten)
- Fieldstone Elementary (grades 1-4)
- Middle School West (grades 5-12)
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post‑secondary education; excellent clerical skills, experience in administering First Aid and CPR;
Licensed Practical Nurse or comparable experience; working knowledge of various medical equipment including but not limited to nebulizers, glucometers, glucagon, epi‑pens, peak flow meters, and inhalers. Possess respectful, empathetic listening and communication skills with students, families and staff.
$21.17‑$23.26, depending upon experience within the district.
