Job DescriptionAbout STMA Schools: We are a district that serves over 6,300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities: The NHS Advisor will help advise, coordinate and support the participants for the organization. This includes planning and supervising the various events the NHS hosts throughout the year including pepfests, blood drives, and dances.
Contract: 0.66 FTE for the school year because of the mid‑year start; however, this is a full‑year position and will run during the full normal school year and be a 1.0 FTE going forward, starting with the school year.
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, flexible day/times after school to be determined by the advisor.
Requirements & Qualifications: Experience with National Honor Society preferred.
Stipend Starting Salary Range: $3,063 – $3,365 for 0.66 FTE for the school year, according to the Group National Honor Society section of Schedule C of the Certified Master Contract 2023‑2025. For the school year, the stipend will be the full 1.0 FTE stipend of the then‑in‑effect contract rate.
Benefits: No benefit eligibility, other than earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
