Paramedic - St. Marys, Georgia – Full time, 24/72 shift (8am-8am).

New Pay Per Trip Incentive:
Per Trip Bonus = Extra Pay for Every Run. No cap – the more you run, the more you earn. On top of your regular hourly pay. Certain qualifications must be met to be eligible.

Orange Park, FL;

Brunswick, GA; and St. Marys, GA.

Responsibilities
  • Primary job is to function as a Paramedic conducting patient care from an ambulance. When time allows, responsible for the daily supervision of EMS field operations in the absence of senior management. Ensures adequate zone coverage, compliance, and serves as Ameri Pro EMS’ liaison with outside responding agencies and personnel.
  • Shall manage day-to-day short term scheduling needs and ensure crews TEFs are turned into the Operations Supervisor.
  • Deliver RTF paperwork to employees on duty and forward to the administrative assistant. Ensure daily duties (truck cleaning, station duties, check-offs, etc.) are performed.
  • Be the first contact for OJIs, complaints, company-related accidents, etc., initiating initial investigations and forwarding to Operations Supervisor for completion.
  • Complete daily shift report detailing activities; provide leadership and training for new employees and students.
  • Respond to the scene with crews and assume command and coordinate ambulance transport in Mass Casualty Incidents until relieved by senior management.
  • Attend regular planning meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate ability to safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations.
Qualifications
  • Paramedic job qualifications:
    High school diploma/GED; minimum 2 years EMS experience preferred.
  • State-specific Paramedic license in good standing / current NREMT certification if required by state.
  • Current certifications CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS; valid state driver’s license.
  • Ventilator certified every three years; FEMA IS certs: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800.
  • Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and either a written and practical exam.
  • Strong people skills and ability to collaborate within a team; proficient communication in English; ability to read and interpret medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Paramedic or similar medical role.
  • Additional certifications or training: AMLS, PHTLS, ATLS; technology proficiency.
Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge of emergency medical service methods and protocols approved by medical director.
  • Ability to read maps; strong multi-tasking and documentation skills; proficiency with PCR reporting, email, and MDT applications.
Physical Requirements

Regularly required to use hands, stand, walk; frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally up to 300 pounds with assistance. Vision requirements include close, color, and depth perception.

Working Environment

EMS care may involve inclement weather, hazardous conditions, psychological stressors, diseases, and irregular work schedules. May require meetings outside of regular hours.
