Position: Bench Joiner / Carpenter
Our client, a well-established joinery company based in St Ives, is looking for an experienced professional Bench Joiner / Carpenter to join their talented workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

Are you a skilled Bench Joiner / Carpenter who takes real pride in precision craftsmanship? Want to work on high-end, bespoke projects where no two days are the same?

You’ll be responsible for producing bespoke joinery pieces from start to finish, working to exacting standards and detailed drawings. Your day-to-day will include:

Duties for the Bench Joiner role:

- * Cutting and preparing timber to precise specifications

* Manufacturing and assembling high-quality bespoke joinery

* Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings

* Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

* Adapting designs to meet client requirements

* Monitoring stock levels and reporting material defects

To be considered for the Bench Joiner role you’ll bring

* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner / Carpenter in bespoke joinery

* Strong knowledge of traditional and modern joinery techniques

* Confidence using hand and power tools

* Exceptional attention to detail and pride in your work

* A solid understanding of Health & Safety

* Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset
