Operational Support Operative

The Operational support operative is responsible maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of outdoor areas, loading and unloading of deliveries, organising work areas, general waste and recycling management and general support to the facility and operational team.

• Operating equipment and ensuring the overall function and appearance of outdoor areas.
• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
• Maintaining yard equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assisting with other yard‑related tasks as needed, such as loading/unloading of deliveries.
• General site welfare cleaning duties.
• Performing general maintenance tasks.
• Any other duties required by the operational team.

• Excellent personnel management and communication skills.
• Strong team player with a proactive approach to work and staff engagement.
• Highly organised with strong problem‑solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• High standard of cleanliness, with understanding of COSHH policies.
• FLT license with experience in loading and unloading.
