Systems & Projects Accountant

We’re looking for a hands‑on Systems & Projects Accountant to strengthen the accuracy, stability, and efficiency of our finance systems. Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE

Location: Newton‑Le‑Willows, WA12

Job Type: Full‑time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

• Investigate and resolve issues within Intact and connected finance systems
• Improve end‑to‑end finance processes, reducing manual work and strengthening controls
• Support rollout and adoption of PO systems, workflow tools, and automation platforms
• Analyse and streamline AP, AR, and Management Accounts processes
• Maintain system configurations and user access
• Lead upgrades and enhancements to finance systems
• Assist with onboarding acquired businesses, including data migration
• Collaborate with external partners to deliver stable, accurate system solutions

• AAT/ACCA/CIMA part‑qualified or qualified (or strong equivalent)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• Hands‑on ERP/finance systems experience
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
• Experience with acquisitions or onboarding new businesses is a plus
