Certain Advantage are recruiting for our manufacturer near St Helens for a Designer / Draughtsperson to work onsite 5 days (37 hours).

This is a permanent role with a benefits package.

Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of shielded testing rooms and chambers for use in the testing of equipment, e.g. for electro-magnetic and radio frequency interference.

The Role & Candidate Requirements

You will work as part of the Design team supporting the Project Manager to generate drawings from initial layout through to manufacture.
You will generate complete engineering packages including GA drawings in AutoCAD, as well as assemblies and models in Solid Works 3D modelling software and generate structured bills of material.
Ideally qualified to HNC level, experience in  structural steel, mechanical engineering, construction is highly preferable.
A good working knowledge of both Tekla Structures and Autodesk Revit
