Learning Support Tutor (EAA) - St Helens College

. Role Overview Our college is seeking a dedicated learning support tutor to provide high‑quality support to college students, liaising with colleagues and external agencies. The tutor will undertake learning support assessments and carry out exam access arrangements in line with the College’s mission and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake referrals for learners with additional needs.
  • Develop and write Individual Learning Support Plans.
  • Complete Exam Access Arrangements for learners.
  • Provide 1:1 skills development tutorials.
  • Liaise with colleagues, parents and external agencies.
  • Make referrals to external agencies.
Qualifications Required
  • Qualification that meets JCQ requirements for Assessors of Exam Access Arrangements.
  • Relevant teaching qualification for post‑16 education.
