Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00 (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role

As a Hire and Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless customer experience.

Key Duties
  • Acting as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Handling the full hire process – from initial request and equipment selection to order processing and off-hire management.
  • Providing accurate information on product availability, hire rates, delivery times, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinating with logistics, drivers, engineers, and other depots to ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate hire records and updating internal systems.
  • Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring repeat business.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Resolving customer queries, issues, or complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Supporting depot colleagues with administrative tasks and general branch operations.
  • Contributing to stock checks, yard organisation, and equipment control where necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with company health & safety standards and environmental responsibilities.

Previous experience in hire, construction, plant, or a customer service environment is desirable but not essential – full training is provided.
