Job Description:

RG Set Square are currently looking for an Electrician's Mate/Electrical Improver to join a growing team of M&E specialists working on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will assist qualified electricians in carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist electricians with electrical installations, testing, and maintenance.
Help with running cables and installing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Ensure that all work meets industry regulations and safety standards.
Prepare work areas and ensure all materials and tools are ready for use.
Assist with the completion of paperwork and documentation as required.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Adhere to health and safety policies on site.

Qualifications required:

Previous experience as an Electrician's Mate or in a similar electrical assistant role is preferred but not essential.
An understanding of basic electrical systems and components.
Must hold or be working towards an electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
A valid ECS or CSCS card (or the ability to obtain one quickly).
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
