Overview

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Penrice Academy in St Austell to assist our Catering Manager in providing meal service in our schools. This role is term‑time only and does not require weekends, making it ideal for those looking for flexibility.

Remuneration & Schedule
  • £12.21 per hour
  • 20 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
  • Term‑time only (38 weeks per year)
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Catering Manager with preparing lunch and morning break
  • Help serve and clean the dining hall
  • Comply with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
  • Keep the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas clean and tidy
  • Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
  • Represent Caterlink and maintain a positive brand image
