Leuchars up to £32,760, with progression to £35,000/£36,000 once fully qualified. 37‑hour week, 6% pension, occasional overtime, and comprehensive training & progression.

Are you a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician with NVQ3 or similar? Do you want to work on some of the most exciting and top‑secret MoD and defence projects and play your part in the global security crisis?

As a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician we service, repair, diagnose & maintain MoD vehicles and electrical equipment, including hydraulic & hydraulic systems. We inspect and assess vehicles, manage material demands and complete documentation and test reports in compliance with current standards.

• Perform servicing, repair and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnosis and inspection duties.
• Adhere to customer requirements, regulations, and technical standards, ensuring proper use of issued stores and equipment.
• Diagnose, assess and document vehicle and equipment status, manage material demands and complete test reports in compliance with standards.

• Vehicle Mechanic / Technician with NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification.
• Time served or NVQ3 or above.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle, mechanic, hydraulic, electrical systems and PPM.
• Ability to perform reactive and emergency service and diagnose fault finding.

Pension, 6% pension, 37‑hour week, occasional overtime, training progression, progression to supervisor/ assessor roles and potential 4‑day week.
