Account ManagerYour Role: Account Manager
As an Account Manager at Global, you will play a pivotal role in helping local businesses across Scotland and the North and the wider region grow through impactful Audio advertising solutions. You’ll nurture long-standing client relationships while identifying new commercial opportunities across the SME market.
Responsibilities- Client Growth & Retention
:
Manage and develop a portfolio of existing SME clients, understanding their objectives and delivering effective Audio campaigns that drive measurable results. - New Business Development
:
Prospect, pitch, and acquire new local business partnerships, confidently introducing Global’s market-leading Audio portfolio to decision-makers across key sectors. - Commercial Planning & Forecasting
:
Maintain accurate pipeline management and revenue forecasting, ensuring all activity is recorded and progressed through Global systems with precision and accountability.
Think Big: You’ll unlock growth for ambitious local businesses by putting them on Scotland and the north’s biggest Radio brands.
Own It: You’ll have full autonomy to manage your territory, build your own pipeline, and shape your own success.
Keep It Simple: With a best-in-class product suite and streamlined tools, you’ll focus on high-value conversations rather than complex processes.
Better Together: You’ll collaborate with creative, planning and operations teams to deliver campaigns that clients are genuinely proud of.
What Success Looks LikeIn your first few months, you’ll have:
- Built strong relationships with your core existing accounts and identified key growth opportunities.
- Secured your first wins from new SME clients within the territory.
- Developed a visible, organised pipeline of prospects and renewal activity.
- Demonstrated a clear understanding of the Audio product suite and how SMEs can best leverage it.
