Van Driver

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised waste management business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £14 per hour. The role of Evening Van Driver is based in St. Albans.

You don’t need any experience but you must have a Full UK Driving License with zero points; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! • Comfortable driving a van
• Reliable and responsible driver
• Ability to operate a mobile device
• Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others; teamwork is key to success!
• Full, clean UK Driving License

• Driving and operating a 3.5t box van
• Multidrop work, delivering, removing and replacing waste containers for commercial customers/sites
• Accurately completing appropriate forms and paperwork
• Performing duties in an efficient and effective manner that will ensure maximum productivity
• Ensuring at the end of the shift the vehicle is cleared, cab is left clear of litter, uniform and personal effects are stored properly
• Daily de-brief with transport team; ensuring that all accidents that occur during the shift are reported to the Supervisor/Team Leader, to the police if appropriate, and all accident reports are completed before leaving work

• Typically 04:00 or 05:00 starts
• Monday to Friday

• Paid weekly
