About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our depot team. This is a permanent, site‑based position where you’ll be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical equipment used within the depot and supporting operational readiness of assets before they go out to customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on electrical work, a stable working environment, and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on depot-based equipment.

* Inspect, test, and certify electrical items to ensure compliance with regulations.

* Diagnose faults and perform repairs to ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.

* Support the preparation, servicing, and refurbishment of assets.

* Maintain accurate records, service logs, and test certificates.

* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.

* Collaborate with depot colleagues to meet operational demands and deadlines.

About You

* Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

* 18th Edition wiring regulations.

* Experience in electrical maintenance, testing, and diagnostics.

* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical information.

* Practical, organised, and able to work independently.

* Experience with temporary power equipment, renewables, hire fleet assets, or similar is an advantage but not essential.
