Compliance Manager, Quality Assurance - QA​/QC

Meteor Communications is a rapidly expanding, privately owned business with 35 employees where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We operate in environmental monitoring markets, delivering innovative monitoring solutions for the Environment Agency, UK Water Companies, and international customers.

We design and manufacture a range of telemetry products, including the ESNET system and MRC remote cameras, and operate under an ISO 9001:2015 accredited Quality Management System. Our work supports critical environmental protection and infrastructure, giving our team the opportunity to make a tangible real-world impact.

To ensure our success, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of our Quality Management Systems and help drive a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business.

This is a hands-on, influential role working closely with Production, Service, and leadership teams, reporting directly to the Technical Director. You’ll play a key part in maintaining ISO standards, supporting audits, managing corrective actions, and shaping current and future certifications.

💪 What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and improving our ISO
  9001:2015 Quality Management System
• Leading internal and external audits
• Driving corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Working cross-functionally to embed quality best practices
• Supporting supplier quality, customer feedback, and compliance platforms
• Preparing for future certifications such as ISO
  14001

• Proven experience managing ISO
  9001:2015 (manufacturing or service environment preferred)
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
