Mechanical Assembler role in St Albans - IMMEDIATE START
Covering absence for 4 weeks - possibly longer!
Free parking is on site and you will be working within a close, small team. You must be able to commute to AL1.
Hours are fairly flexible but you will work 40 hours per week and can start between 07:00 and 09:00.
Responsibilities- Assembling components and sub‑assemblies, fitting, aligning and testing parts, drilling, tapping, deburring, bench fitting, and ensuring finished parts meet quality standards.
- Experience in using tools and ideally mechanical assembl... experience.
- Electrical experience or panel wiring exposure preferred.
- Experience in semi‑automatic lathes, machine metal components to precise tolerances.
- Reading engineering drawings and use of micrometers, calipers, and gauges (bonus but not essential).
