We are looking for a Digital Test Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation who has an ambition is to build a modern, resilient, and high-performing digital ecosystem that delivers meaningful impact for our customers and stakeholders.

Working set-up

3 days in the office per week

Salary

Up to £85,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a comprehensive Digital Test Strategy spanning all testing disciplines, including functional, compatibility, performance, resilience, availability, accessibility, and security testing.
  • Embed continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines, driving early and effective automation across the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement a robust end-to-end testing framework that assures complex, cross-system integration journeys and interdependencies.
  • Oversee and align all digital testing activities, partnering closely with internal QA teams and external vendors to ensure cohesive and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead Digital Test reporting, establishing meaningful quality KPIs, performance dashboards, and forward-looking quality forecasts to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide effective leadership and mentorship to the test team, cultivating a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering digital testing across web and mobile environments.
  • Deep knowledge of both functional and non-functional testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Track record of designing and implementing effective test automation strategies.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the principles of continuous testing.
  • Proven ability to define, track, and communicate meaningful quality metrics and performance trends.
  • Strong judgement and prioritisation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Highly effective stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing QA/Test teams.
