Eutopia Search are proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing business in North London to appoint a Head of Commercial Finance — a high-impact role at the heart of commercial decision-making.

As the strategic finance lead for a key commercial channel, you’ll influence customer strategy, drive profitable growth, and lead a high-performing team to deliver standout results.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with senior commercial leaders to drive profitable growth and influence strategy
• Owning performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting to ensure real-time visibility and action
• Identifying risks and opportunities early — protecting performance and enabling value creation
• Leading ROI improvement across pricing, promotions and customer investment
• Coaching and developing a high-performing team — raising capability and confidence
• Driving continuous improvement across systems, data and commercial finance processes

Experience & Skills

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience
• Strong commercial finance experience with P&L ownership and customer-facing exposure
• FMCG / retail / consumer sector background (or similarly fast-paced environment)
• Ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insight
• Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders, “speaking commercial”, and driving accountability
• Proven leader who develops people and builds strong cross-functional relationships
• Proactive, resilient and comfortable working at pace
