The Finance Business Partner is a key position focused on delivering financial insights and strategic guidance to support business growth and profitability. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial outcomes. The role is essential for fostering strong business partnerships and ensuring the financial health of the sales operations function.

• Business Partnering:
• Serve as the trusted finance partner to head office functions, providing actionable financial insights and analysis to drive business decisions.
• Work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities for improving profitability and efficiency, both on the commercial side and in operational expenditures (OPEX).
• Be the first point of contact for financial support, proactively managing and analysing key business projects, and offering financial guidance on all commercial matters.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure financial decisions align with broader business goals and strategic priorities.
• Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting process by challenging and translating commercial forecasts into realistic sales, cost, and profitability targets.
• Own the process for setting and tracking financial targets, reviewing and updating forecasts based on business needs and market conditions.
• Ensure that financial planning processes are aligned with company goals and adjusted as required to respond to market changes and evolving business priorities.
• Month-End Financial Close:
• Ensure the timely and accurate closing of financial accounts at month-end, including the management of accruals, prepayments, and other necessary adjustments.
• Lead the commercial reporting process, continuously improving the quality and accuracy of financial data.
• Provide senior leadership with insights into P&L, balance sheet, and other financial performance metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present business reviews for senior management, providing insights into financial performance and recommending actions to drive business success.
• Take ownership of pricing strategies, conduct regular profitability assessments and work with stakeholders to identify cost drivers and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability over the long term.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting) is highly desirable.
• Consumer business experience is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record in financial business partnering with non finance stakeholders, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present complex financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive better business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting processes, month-end closing, and performance analysis.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on collaboration and results.
