Are you a Design Manager or an Assistant Design Manager / Architectural Technologist with experience leading projects? After a series of project wins an exciting opportunity has arisen at one of UK's largest main contractors. They are looking to recruit a Design Manager to play a key role in their fit out and refurbishment division.

The initial projects you would be working on are large hospital refurbishments with values between £5-£10m.

This organisation is one of the largest construction and infrastructure groups globally. They have over 100,000 employees, operate in over 100 countries, with a turnover in the £billions.

They are known for the quality of the design in their projects and are looking for a likeminded individual to join this successful team.

The successful individual will have worked for a main contractor as a Design Manager or an Assistant Design Manager / Architectural Technologist who has taken the lead on fit-out or refurbishment projects previously at RIBA stage 3+.

Hospital/NHS or similar projects experience would be preferred but not essential.

• Design Management experience RIBA 3+
• Ability to manage stakeholders
• Excellent IT Skills, Numeracy and Communications skills are required

• Produce and negotiate the project specific designer agreements
• Produce & manage a realistic design programme
• Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement and innovation
