Junior Accountant

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Junior Accountant to join a well-established accountancy practice in St Albans.

They need an ambitious individual who is looking to progress through an accountancy qualification and take on more responsibility as they progress!

It is a family run firm offering full accounting, taxation and payroll solutions to a wide range of clients. They pride themselves on providing a professional, efficient and friendly service, tailored to their clients' individual needs.

• Salary:
  Up to £26k
• Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday 9-5pm
• Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after probation
• Free parking

• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Statutory Accounts Corporation Tax Returns
• Personal Tax Returns
• Various other support tasks such as contacting HMRC

• 5 4-9 grade GCSEs (or equivalent) including mathematics
• 3 A-C grade A-levels (or equivalent)
• Ideally university educated, 2.2 or above
• Competent use of Excel and Word
• Some accounts focused knowledge or experience to build on
