Junior Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced and proactive  Scrum Master  with a  techno-functional mindset , strong grounding in  Agile practices , and a passion for  process excellence . The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of overall experience, with a proven track record of enabling high-performing Agile teams in  payment solutions, BFSI, retail, or healthcare domains .
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to drive Agile delivery, foster continuous improvement, and ensure alignment between technology and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead one or more Agile teams as a  Scrum Master , facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Act as a  techno-functional liaison  — translating business requirements into technical goals and ensuring delivery aligns with organizational objectives.
Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage product backlogs, define user stories, and prioritize sprint deliverables.
Champion  Agile values  and best practices, ensuring adherence to frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
Identify and address impediments that hinder team progress and escalate when necessary.
Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring delivery commitments are met.
Promote  continuous improvement , retrospection, and adoption of Agile maturity across the organization.
Collaborate with QA, Dev Ops, Architecture, and Business teams to ensure seamless, quality-driven releases.
Contribute to Agile process enhancements and play an active role in Agile community-of-practice forums.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

2-3 years of total experience in IT/Software Development, including  2+ years as a Scrum Master .
Hands-on experience working in  payment solutions ,  BFSI ,  retail , or  healthcare  domains.
Strong  techno-functional understanding  of enterprise systems and business workflows.
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using tools like  Jira ,  Confluence , or  Azure Dev Ops .
Proven ability to coach teams on Agile principles and practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
Strong  process orientation  with experience driving efficiency, quality, and Agile compliance.
Relevant certifications preferred:  Certified Scrum Master (CSM) ,  Certified SAFe Scrum Master ,  PMI-ACP , or equivalent.

Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Dev Ops concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation strategies.
Experience in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
Exposure to regulatory environments or compliance-heavy domains like BFSI or healthcare.
Understanding of digital payment platforms, retail POS systems, or core banking solutions.
