Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Glass Manufacturing Plant Lead to manage daily production operations. You will be responsible for overseeing a small production team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining high-quality output, and improving efficiency on the plant floor. This role requires strong leadership to drive performance.
Responsibilities- Production Leadership: Lead and coordinate daily production activities.
- Quality Control: Inspect products to verify they meet company, safety, and client specifications. Troubleshoot fabrication issues as they arise.
- Team Supervision: Train, coach, and motivate production staff. Act as the first point of contact for resolving worker questions, performance issues, or scheduling conflicts.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement improvements to reduce waste and increase output.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in manufacturing, with time spent in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
