Cabinet​/Box Builder

Royal Lane Cabinets is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in custom cabinetry, a strong understanding of woodworking tools and techniques, and a commitment to producing high‑quality work. This role involves building, assembling, and finishing cabinets according to shop drawings and specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood components for custom cabinetry
• Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, planers, and edge banders
• Install hardware including hinges, drawer slides, and handles
• Sand, stain, and finish cabinetry to meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship
• Assist with on-site installations as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Experience with CNC machinery or automated cutting systems
• Knowledge of various wood species and finishing techniques
• Familiarity with cabinet installation practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to custom design challenges
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet building or woodworking
