Laborer​/Pipe Layer

Summary

Laborer/Pipelayer will assist Foreman, Operator, and other crew members with needed material to keep the job progressing efficiently on a daily basis. Must be able to respond quickly and be willing to assist with any job duties asked by Foreman. Pipelayer will work in the trenches and use a laser for precise fitting of the pipes. Experience in the construction industry, particularly excavation or wet utilities preferred.

Laborers/Pipelayers are primarily tasked with supporting crew members in whatever is needed to help the job progress. Laborers/Pipelayers are responsible for the care and storage of all tools they use; will also assist in clean up on completed project sites.

Duties include:

• Provide essential support for crew
• Dig in trenches
• Prepare grade for pipe
• Lay pipe
• Responsible for the care of tools in use
• Take all safety measures when entering trench, report safety concerns to the Foreman

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required or 1 years related experience and/or training.
