Part-Time Accounting Professional (In-House – Real Estate Development)

Location:

In-House – Real Estate Development

Schedule:

20 Hours per Week (Permanent Part-Time)

We are not interested in outsourcing our books.

We are seeking a proactive and highly competent accounting professional to support our Accounting Manager in overseeing the financial management of multiple real estate development projects and affiliated entities.

This is a permanent, part-time, in-house position (approximately 20 hours per week).

The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate development accounting, partnership accounting, Quick Books Desktop, and multi-entity financial management.

This role requires someone who can step in quickly, operate independently, follow direction precisely, and maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability.

• Monthly reconciliations for over a dozen development projects and affiliated entities
• Monitoring and processing invoices across all active projects
• Accurate and timely data entry
• Tracking and managing key accounting deadlines
• Monitoring partnership bank accounts to confirm receipt of capital contributions and following up on outstanding funds
• Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements from the outsourced property management company to ensure proper expense classification and budget adherence
• Comparing actual performance to approved budgets
• Supporting various additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

This position will have an hourly rate of $30 per hour.
