We cover the entire lifecycle, often beginning with defining a market where none exists, designing and building the product, training the customer on how to use the system, and supporting it in the field.
We have an exciting opportunity and are looking to hire an Inventory Accountant. This position will report directly to the CFO and will play an important role in the growth and stability of IMSAR. The accounting team is small but capable. You'd be offering your input on how to build and grow this team while keeping costs low and following required GAAP and DCAA guidelines.
Required Attributes- At least a BS degree in accounting
- Two to four years of accounting or finance experience
- The ability to consistently comply with regulations, policies and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint software is preferred
- An active CPA license, or working toward this
- Ability to ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately and on time
- Work with production, purchasing, engineering, and inventory control to ensure accurate inventory controls, levels, and values
- Verify inventory transactions are reported to the correct accounts and review reports for negative quantities
- Prepare month-end reports and general ledger entries related to inventory control, cost of sales, and all variances
- Maintain Fixed Asset Master records, be responsible for fixed asset control and reconciliation of detail records to the General Ledger
