Inspector Trainee

.

• One (1) year of experience inspecting fire sprinklers and integrated systems
• Obtain necessary certifications within 6 months of employment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
• Eagerness for professional development and growth
• Ability to pass various background checks
• Reliable transportation and a valid State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle
• Desirable (but not required):
  • Experience in the construction or electrical industry
  • General working knowledge of industrial and/or commercial installation methods
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings

• Assist with the service, inspection and testing of fire sprinklers, clean agent, backflow assembly, and integrated systems under the guidance of a licensed supervisor; may include fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, video surveillance, intercom, sound/security systems, and other life safety systems.
• Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites in accordance with VSC policies.
