Sheehy Ford of Springfield is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager / Team Captain to lead and manage a dedicated team of 5–10 Sales Consultants. This true player-coach role offers full accountability for team performance, with 100% of compensation tied directly to team results. Ideal candidates are competitive, entrepreneurial leaders passionate about building a winning team and growing a long-term book of business in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and manage a defined team of 5–10 Sales Consultants
- Own team performance across gross profit, volume, customer satisfaction, and key KPIs
- Actively sell new and used vehicles and lead from the front
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop top-performing sales talent
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations and hold the team accountable
- Ensure consistent execution of dealership sales processes and CRM discipline
- Deliver a strong customer experience and maintain high CSI standards
- Serve as a strong closer with the ability to coach others
- A minimum of two years of Automotive Sales Management experience
- Proven success in auto retail sales
- Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Passion for training sales team members and fostering a collaborative environment
- Enthusiastic personality with a high-energy attitude
- Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Competitive compensation: $110,000 - $220,000 per year, paid bi-weekly
