Cimarron is seeking a Project Manager to support a classified program in Springfield, VA. In this position, you will lead and oversee all aspects of project execution from initiation through completion for a construction and facilities management project. This role will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, managing resources, maintaining budgets and schedules, and ensuring all deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements.

• Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, resource needs, budget, risk mitigation, and communication strategies for a construction/facilities project.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and ensure alignment across technical, operational, and client‑facing roles.
• Monitor and track progress using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
• Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, milestones, and contractual deliverables.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and end users.
• Deliver project status reports and updates, including analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure all project activities comply with organizational policies, industry best practices, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct post‑project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and contribute to organizational knowledge and continuous improvement efforts.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph (or higher).
• This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ‑compliant driver's license or state‑issued identification card at the time of hire. • Demonstrated experience in program management, including managing multiple projects across functional domains.
• Strong proficiency in project planning, resource management, risk management, and budget oversight.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and interface with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing program implementation, tracking progress toward goals, and managing within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage program evaluations and make data‑driven recommendations for improvement.
• Working knowledge of change management strategies and techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field, and 8 or more years of experience, or Master's degree and 6 or more years of related experience.
  • Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Strong skills in project and program evaluations, measuring outcomes, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Experience interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to manage deliverables and ensure alignment.
• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or other program management platforms.
• Familiarity with federal contracting environments and relevant frameworks (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
• Knowledge of change management practices and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma.
