Position: Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS) with Security Clearance

Springfield, VA/St. Louis, MO (Cortex) Security

Clearance Required:

Active TS (SCI eligibility) clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI poly is required upon application for initial consideration

Join our growing team supporting the NGA customer missions as a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS) . Responsibilities What you get to do every day:
* Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services.
* O&M of existing Red Hat Open Shift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
* Support Open Shift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, Red Hat Git Ops
* Deploy Open Shift to new sites as they come online
* Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
* Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
* Support data services including Rabbit

SQL, Elastic Stack
* Compile detailed documentation Qualifications Security Clearance Required :

Required:

Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following:

Experience:

* Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
* 5-8 years Developer experience

Required Skills:

* Experience deploying and managing Red Hat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment

* Experience with Amazon Web Services

* Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired)

* Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS

* CI/CD orchestration tools:
Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Ops

* Container technology:
Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general What is ideal?
* Red Hat Certified Specialist in Open Shift certification
