Senior Airborne Electronic Attack Subject Matter Expert (TS/SCI) with Security Clearance
CSCI seeks a highly skilled Senior Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) to draft requirements; draft budget and program reviews; analyze and draft fleet integration strategies; and develop manuals, documents, and briefings for the AEA Requirements Officers, Strike Branch Head Office, and OPNAV. This position is on-site, Monday-Friday.
The primary duty location will be the Pentagon, with an alternate worksite in Springfield.
- Meet and collaborate with Program Office staff to conduct on site analysis and engineering model development.
- Coordinate program interoperability with program offices, fleet commands, and other services.
- Conduct operational analysis on requirements to determine technical and tactical feasibility.
- Create strategies for programmatic structure while considering alternative solutions.
- Understand the cost‑benefit of system discrepancies between technical solutions and other doctrine, organization, training material, leadership, and education decisions.
- Understand and analyze the trade space between cost, performance, and schedule.
- Ensure that all written content meets our company’s standards and the customer’s (US Navy) standards.
- Conduct budgetary analysis to verify and understand impacts to OPNAV N98 and overall Navy top‑line budgets as they relate to the budget of AEA.
- Provide acquisition analysis, ensuring requirements are understood.
- Verify information to include checking facts, reviewing resources, or conducting additional research. Collaborate with writers, subject matter experts, researchers, and developers to ensure accuracy.
- US Citizenship is required.
- BA/BS in Physics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or commensurate military or professional experience.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) Information.
- Have a working knowledge of handling and protocols, Special Access Program (SAP) and Classified Programs within both the DON and DoD.
- Must have TACAIR experience.
- Can work effectively in a highly team‑oriented environment and communicate sophisticated ideas directly with government civilians, military officers, and other contractors.
- Ability to develop requirements via the Capability Based Assessment (CBA) process and requirements as they relate to threats, and technical and tactics development.
- Understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), as well as understanding of the Navy’s budgeting process.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Well‑developed analytical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to instruct and mentor less knowledgeable audiences.
- Ability to creatively approach and solve situations.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be willing to actively communicate with co‑workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Prior military experience preferred, but not required.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements, and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 – $154,000 per year.
