Description
This position involves supporting and managing Microsoft Project Server and related systems in a cloud environment, primarily on AWS. Responsibilities include system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and security management. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to define requirements, review logs, ensure compliance, and support operational tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, backup/restore, upgrade, and maintain servers and applications on AWS.
- Implement SSL Certificates and security configurations.
- Administer MS Project Server (2019 or equivalent) and related databases.
- Manage AWS infrastructure, including virtual server setup and security.
Required Experience:
- Experience with MS Project Server installation and administration.
- Server management in Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of system administration, command line tools, and performance tuning.
- Database administration experience (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle).
- Application server management and LDAP authentication.
- Web server configuration, including SSL and reverse proxy setup.
Desired Experience:
- Experience with MS Project Server 2016 or 2019.
Cloud Technology Skills:
- Experience managing AWS or similar cloud environments, including VPCs and EC2 instances.
- Implementing SSO and troubleshooting across multiple environments.
- Managing cloud infrastructure and security policies.
Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience, or Associate’s degree with 4 years’ experience, or 6 years’ relevant experience.
