Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant
. This role will primarily support Accounts Payable functions, while also assisting with Accounts Receivable as needed. In addition to accounting responsibilities, the position will handle a variety of administrative and office operations tasks, including event and meeting coordination, travel arrangements, reception coverage, and overall office support.
The ideal candidate is proactive, thorough, an excellent communicator, and experienced in allocating costs across multiple lines of business.
Quick Books experience is required.
- Perform day‑to‑day Accounts Payable processing, including invoice entry, coding, and payment preparation
- Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks such as payment application, invoice follow-up, and account reconciliations
- Process and allocate employee expenses to the correct line of business
- Ensure all accounting transactions are entered accurately and in compliance with internal procedures
- Maintain organized financial records and support month-end closing activities
- Coordinate meetings, events, and company gatherings
, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor coordination - Arrange employee and executive travel
, including flights, hotels, and itineraries - Provide reception coverage as needed, including greeting visitors and managing incoming calls
- Support day‑to‑day office operations
, ensuring the workplace runs smoothly - Assist with general administrative tasks and projects as assigned
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of cost allocation principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Professional, dependable, and customer‑service oriented
- Collaborative and supportive team environment
