Cardiovascular Sonographer — $20,000 Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates! Friday-Sunday 6a-6p - No Call Requirements (Weekend Differential).

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking an Echo Technologist to perform high-quality, efficient cardiac imaging procedures. We value expertise and patient-focused care, and we invite you to apply!

Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with a variety of advanced cardiac imaging procedures ordered by the physician, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in administering ultrasound-enhancing agents (contrast) for optimal diagnostic image quality.
  • Maintain patient safety by adhering to disinfection and sterilization protocols for specialized cardiac equipment, especially TEE probes.
  • Execute day-to-day activities to deliver quality patient care in a diagnostic or therapeutic environment.
  • Serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff.
  • Respond promptly to information requests or follow-up regarding physician, staff, or patient issues.
What Qualifications You Will Need
  • Education
    :
    Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program with a focus on Echocardiography.
  • Certifications
    : ARDMS or CCI registration is required (registered or eligible, to be obtained within six months of hire). Current American Heart Association BLS certification (obtained and maintained according to hospital policy).
  • Experience
    :
    One year of clinical experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and proficiency with ultrasound contrast agents. Knowledge of disinfection and sterilization protocols for specialized cardiac equipment, particularly TEE probes.
