** Overview:
*** Travel Float Nurse positions are temporary. Hours are not guaranteed but are based on the needs of the units and/or assigned locations.
* Flexible schedules, part-time, full-time, and as-needed basis.
* Nurses will cover shifts and schedules as needed at the units in their assigned locations. Travel expenses will be covered as needed.
** Position Requirements
*** Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program
* Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
* 1 year of nursing experience
* Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families
* Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks
* Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
* Float Nurse is responsible for keeping all required licensure, certifications and CPR certification current.
* Float Nurse must complete all required RHA and unit specific annual competencies when due and this information should be recorded in Workday.
* Work requirements will be reviewed every month to determine continued eligibility for program.
