Overview
This opportunity seeks a licensed School Psychologist to support an elementary school within the Nashville area. The assignment is a full-time, contract position with a focus on delivering psychological services to young students in a public school setting. Candidates must hold an active Tennessee Department of Education certification and be prepared to engage directly on-site.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary-aged students
- Participate in meetings regarding student educational plans and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop appropriate supports
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student information and services
- Contribute to the overall improvement of student outcomes through data-driven decision making
- Active Tennessee DOE Certification in School Psychology required
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong skills in student evaluation, assessment, and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and flexibility
On-site placement in the Nashville metropolitan area, specifically serving an elementary school within the Clarksville-Montgomery County school system.
Employment Details- Contract role starting as soon as possible through May 20, 2026
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Assignment may involve primarily evaluations or meetings; specific duties to be finalized
- No fingerprinting required for credentialing in Tennessee
