- Hourly Base Rate: $49.00 - $79.74
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week, 12‑hour shifts

Job Summary:
- The Surgical Care Unit registered nurse provides post-operative patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, coordinating with the surgical team, and managing patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and surgical procedure.
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and other clinical parameters throughout the surgical process.
- Administer medications as prescribed, including pre-operative medications and post-operative pain management.
- Manage post-operative complications such as nausea, pain, bleeding, and vital sign instability.
- Provide patient education regarding post-operative care instructions and wound management.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Report any patient concerns or changes in condition promptly.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an RN, State of Oregon.
- Current BLS.
- Two years acute care experience preferred.
