About the Position
The OR (Operating Room) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the OR, assisting surgeons during operations, monitoring patient vital signs, ensuring strict sterile techniques, and collaborating with surgical teams for safe, efficient procedures. The RN OR also educates patients and families on pre- and post-operative care and maintains accurate surgical records. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements

Valid RN license in the practicing state.

Prior experience in perioperative or surgical nursing preferred.

Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and OR protocols.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
