Maintenance Worker II - Plant Operations - Full-Time
McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family - our community.
Position Details:
- Hourly Base Rate: $28.38 - $36.13
- Shift: Days
- Hours Per Week: 40-hours/week
- SEIU Local 49 represented position

- Independently maintains a regular schedule of physical plant maintenance and inspections.
- Performs repair and maintenance on all hospital equipment and appliances.
- Capable of firing boilers and switching leads as required.
- Inspects and lubricates motors, valves and bearings.
- Proficient in verifying safety of electrically powered equipment.
- Capable of performing minor construction tasks.
- Capable of minor plumbing repairs.
- Capable of understanding and operating building automated maintenance software and other software driven computer programs.
- Performs various other related tasks as needed and assigned.
- Responds to security issues as appropriate.
- Valid Oregon Driver's License
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Possess general mechanical aptitude with specific skills related to plumbing, electricity, carpentry or boiler operation. Available to work any shift and weekends. Hospital experience or related field beneficial.
