Oregon Urology Institute (OUI) has a Full-Time, Certified Medical Assistant opportunity.

Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading‑edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.
We are seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support both clinical and administrative functions within our Radiation Oncology department. This role combines medical assistant responsibilities with radiation therapy support tasks and front desk scheduling duties, ensuring patients receive coordinated and efficient care throughout their treatment process.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support Duties- Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient history/vital signs.
- Hands on procedure‑oriented nursing care in a fast‑paced office.
- Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examination and procedures.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Assist with patient intake prior to radiation therapy sessions.
- Escort patients to treatment areas as directed by clinical staff.
- Coordinate treatment schedules with radiation therapy staff.
- Ensure patient charts and documentation are complete before treatment appointments.
- Support workflow efficiency between clinical providers and therapy staff.
- Greet patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Check‑in patients for appointments.
- Verify and update necessary information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Receive payments from patients and issue receipts.
- Reconcile daily cash box.
- Work closely with providers and nursing staff.
- Book, coordinate and reschedule patient appointments.
- Schedule laboratory testing and outpatient procedures and answer patient questions regarding their appointments and testing.
- Able to assist in a variety of treatments.
- Skill in taking vital signs.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients, and co‑workers.
- Must be flexible and a quick learner.
- Excellent Patient Service skills and abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Skill in answering telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
