Our Maternal Fetal Medicine Women’s Health Clinic is looking for a sharp, detail-loving Medical Scribe who thrives on prep work, accuracy, and making providers’ lives easier—without direct patient contact.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity working on-site at clinic in Springfield, OR. The position has an expectation of 40hrs per week (Monday - Friday) and we are proud to offer a great benefits package. Our Medical Scribe recruiting pay range is $17.74 – 21.38.
Responsibilities- Prepare daily chart notes thoroughly and accurately, to include relevant template details dependent on what condition/clinical scenario the patient is coming in with.
- Input ultrasound findings once populated into the prepared chart notes.
- Input treatment recommendations into the plan section of the chart note and check for accuracy against the schedule.
- Completes the patient’s chart by summarizing consultation and or examination, listing all proper diagnoses as well as any follow-up instructions. Monitors chart progress to ensure workup is complete and the practitioner can make timely decisions regarding the patient’s care. Enters limited CPT charge codes for accurate billing.
- Navigates the EMR to look up pertinent past medical records. Retrieves, organizes, prioritizes, stores, and maintains transmittable information utilizing electronic technology.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in a medical/clinical setting preferred.
- Business Effectiveness: Strong computer, organizational, and time management skills to ensure maximum productivity. Good at multitasking with a high level of quality/accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with the other departments to complete tasks. Advanced language and grammar skills both verbal and written, and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Personal Effectiveness: Strong personal work habits with a high level of accountability and self-management skills that enable desired outcomes. Easily able to adapt and maintain composure, effective at time priority and management, and able to respond to feedback constructively.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Strong communication skills, a teamwork mindset, and well-developed interpersonal capabilities that enable successful interactions with others. Engages well with the team/patients through respectful and inclusive conduct.
