Office Assistant 1 Bilingual: $19.37 - $25.86/hour Office Assistant 2 Bilingual: $21.92 - $29.24/hour About the Position
This position is in our Centralized Call Center that serves as a contact point for all eight of our health centers. Office Assistants in this role assist with a variety of administrative tasks and duties, including front‑desk or screening coverage, establishing new patients, routine outbound appointment scheduling, filing of medical records, insurance verification, accurate cash handling and record keeping, data entry, and verification of client demographic information.
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will answer incoming calls and use clinical tools to determine appropriate scheduling, tasking to clinical staff, and sending information to triage. You will also support data entry for online scheduling and make outreach calls for special projects, serving as the primary point of contact for patient scheduling and documentation.

NOTE: This position is posted for our River Stone Clinic but will require the ability to float to our other clinics as needed for coverage, training, and support. Travel between all clinic locations may be required during the onboarding and training period.

Office Assistant 1 Training & Experience- Completion of the twelfth grade.
- One year of general clerical and office assistance experience.
- Completion of the twelfth grade.
- Two years of responsible clerical and office assistance experience.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Testing Requirements- Successful hire will be contingent upon taking a bilingual test to demonstrate proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Language – Spanish DefinitionTo assist in providing bilingual communication with Limited English Proficient (LEP) persons. Individuals in these classifications have successfully passed a test demonstrating proficiency in both English and the other language administered by the County. The use of the second language in performing job duties is required.
