Looking for: A mission‑driven Mid-Level Network Engineer with an active DoD Secret Clearance and Security+ certification to join our team at AMERICAN SYSTEMS! You will be providing critical real‑time monitoring, analysis, and support to National Priority network environments. Responsibilities
* Support Network sustainability at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport ANG complex in Springfield, OH to support network modernization efforts.
* Install, configure, cut over, test, and validate Cisco, Avaya, and Juniper‑based network solutions, including routers, switches, and security appliances.
* Collaborate with base personnel to isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues.
* Ensure full and accurate cutover of mission‑critical network functionality.
* Update engineering documentation, diagrams, and site reports to produce complete and accurate as‑built packages. Qualifications
* Active DoD Secret security clearance
* Demonstrated experience conducting network equipment installations and cutovers.
* Bachelors Degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 12 years of relevant experience
* Security+ certification required
* Networking certifications to include at least one of the following:
Cisco CCNA, Avaya ASTA, Juniper JNCIA (current).
* Willingness to travel when required (CONUS).
* Willingness to support a 24/7 shift rotation environment. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $94,400.00/Yr.
- USD $/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
