We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our corporate team in Springfield, OH. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources department performing various tasks. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can adapt to the diverse needs of our workforce.

• Assist in the management of onboarding, employee benefits programs, workers comp, and leave of absence.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive work culture.
• Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning initiatives.
• Support policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Contribute to the development and execution of HR projects and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role with higher education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
