Kettering Health | Springfield, Ohio | Part‑time (12‑hour shift days)

• To perform high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
• Demonstrate a strong approach to all network initiatives and serve as a role model for KHN mission, vision, and values.
• Perform various respiratory procedures on a daily basis under indirect supervision for all age groups as specified per campus departmental policy.
• Exercise good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.
• Maintain productivity at or above required levels.
• Assure correct documentation of all records.
• Occasionally perform the role of Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or clinical Instructor as assigned.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Graduates of a 2–4‑year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
• Required Licenses:
  Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist;
  Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio;
  Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Active AARC membership and demonstration of acute/critical care knowledge related to cardiopulmonary diseases; experience in precepting acute/critical care areas; supervisor capabilities; current BLS with ACLS and proficiency in P, NRP for respective work area.
