Bilingual Accountant

Position Summary
The Bilingual Accountant supports the preparation of financial reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls. This role is responsible for managing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data during the close process, and supporting internal and external audit activities. The position collaborates closely with the Financial Controller and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial reporting, monitor internal controls, and assist with system and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and provision adjustments.
• Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring completion of close checklists and adherence to corporate deadlines.
• Analyze key general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and maintain GL account reconciliations.
• Partner with the Financial Controller to evaluate and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with internal and external audit inquiries and documentation requests.
• Support process improvement initiatives and assist with system and reporting development.
• Collaborate closely with managers and departments across the organization.
• Develop proficiency with company systems, including One Stream, Siebel, and SAP.
• Perform additional accounting and financial duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong prioritization and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3 years of related accounting experience
