This facility is a full-service acute care hospital that has been providing comprehensive medical services to the region for over 100 years. As the only full-service hospital in the area, it offers complete care including 24/7 emergency services, maternity services, critical and intensive care, surgery, and pediatric care. The hospital features 250 total beds with 60 ICU beds, onsite lab and x-ray facilities, and utilizes the EPIC documentation system.

Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Seeking a Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon for call coverage during specific dates in 2026 (March, April, May)
• Practice caseload:
Adult 100%;
Hospital 100%
• Work alongside 1 physician and 2 mid-level providers
• Required procedures include:
• General CV/Thoracic/Vascular Surgeries
• Coronary artery bypass surgery
• Congenital defects
• Valvular repair/replacements
• Aneurysm repair
• Lung resection (including VATs)
• Chest wall/pleural procedures
• Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
• Endarterectomy (Carotid, Renal)
• Ventilation management
• Bronchoscopy• Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues
• Must be Board Certified
• Must have BLS/ACLS certification
• Active Ohio state license required
• Must have clean record
• COVID Vaccine required
• Must be able to cover listed dates
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory (dated within 30 days of presentation)
• Call and weekend coverage required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
