Transportation Driver

Core Requirements:

Driver's License:
Must have a Class A driver's license.

Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen

Experience:

Must have a minimum of two years of transportation experience and a good driving record.

Must have open availability. This will either be a 2nd or 3rd shift position.

The Transport driver shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Drives truck over established route to deliver unload and account for products of the dairy industry to customer's place of business and distribution points.

Records transactions and prepares paper work. Maintains proper logs and other information as required by the Company and

D. O. T. Listens to and resolves service complaints.

He or she will be required to climb, crawl, and walk in an upright as well as a bent position to facilitate the following:
Load and unload product lect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. The transportation driver will have to stack and unstack items weighing 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back continually as well as drag stacks of milk weighing approximately 240 pounds throughout the shift. May be required to move, load, and unload wheeled racks of milk weighing approximately 850 pounds.

Load and unload truck and carry merchandise. He or she will be required to work in very hot (100+ degrees and very cool (less than 32 degrees) environments throughout the year. He or she will also be required to work outside, in whatever the conditions are, most of the time. The successful candidate must keep the inside of truck clean.

Perform routine maintenance on truck. Work and Drive in a safe, courteous and efficient manner.
